Nature is the one consistent grounding and healing space that we can all lean into in these times of need to support us. Breathwork practitioner, Jennylee Taylor is offering a free ongoing sit spot nature challenge. That has been offering all sorts of amazing benefits during this first week of Lockdown.
A sit spot is a place that you go to regularly just to sit and notice, listen, smell, watch, touch and witness what is happening around you.
It could be as simple as your balcony, your backyard, your favourite place on a local walk, a tree, a rock. A place that you can get to easily and not far from home.
The invitation is to really tune into this place. Go there at different times of the day and notice what is different and what is the same.
How long you sit is up to you. 5 mins, 20 mins, 1 hour, the whole day!
What sounds do you hear, birds do you see? What is in flower, what insects are around? Is it warm, cool, windy? See if you can experience the detail.
